Wild Winds Brewery Taproom Update – Good Things Are Coming!

Hey friends,

We’ve been dreaming of this day for a long time, and while the journey hasn’t exactly been a straight path, we’re so excited to share where things are at with our future Wild Winds Brewery taproom and brewery space!

We officially signed the lease for our future home in Bridgeland back in February 2024. Shortly after, in April, we purchased our brewing equipment — a huge milestone that made everything feel very real. Since then, it’s been a lot of waiting, learning, and growing behind the scenes.

Our landlord submitted his building permit application in June 2024, and we’ve been patiently (and sometimes not so patiently!) waiting ever since. Like any big project, there have been a few roadblocks along the way. We won't get into the details, but let’s just say this process has truly tested our patience — and made us even more determined to bring this dream to life.

We are currently aiming for a Spring 2026 opening, and we are crossing all our fingers and toes that the timing works out! That said, if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that there are many factors beyond our control. So rather than putting a firm timeline on things, we’re staying flexible and focusing on moving forward one step at a time.

Once the building permit is approved — allowing the space to be properly demised and brought up to code — we’ll finally be able to begin our own development process. And believe us, we cannot wait for that next chapter to start!

Through it all, what’s kept us going is the incredible community we are so lucky to call home. Bridgeland has been our neighborhood for the past four years, and there is truly no place else we’d rather be. We are beyond excited to open our doors right here — to welcome you in, to serve you beers crafted with passion, and to be part of the heart of Bridgeland.
